4/19/2022 - Find of the Month Meeting - Come see what people are finding!!

As a reminder, we have an upcoming NGRHA club meeting this coming Tuesday, April 19th, starting at 7PM at the Wee Annex of the Mercy Hill Church.  This will be our April Find of the Month meeting, so please bring in your finds (since our last meeting) so you can share them with others in the club. If you have not already done so, please pay your 2022 dues - so you will continue to receive information about the club and upcoming activities.

As a reminder, we will have our Spring Club Relic/Coin hunt May 21st.
  • You must have your dues paid for 2022 in order to participate in the hunt.  If you are not sure if your dues are paid for this year, please let us know.
  • You must sign up for the hunt at a club meeting - you cannot sign up for the hunt on the day of the hunt.
  • There will be a hunt sign up sheet at the club meeting, as we need to know the number of folks coming to the hunt.
  • The hunt fee is $20.
  • We will have food at the conclusion of the hunt.
  • There will be approximately 700 targets at the hunt, including relics and tokens.
We will also have an update on our Club's Annual Relic show, scheduled for August 13th and 14th.
If you have any questions about the club or any activities, please let us know.

CLUB HUNT RULES
Club Hunts are governed by the following rules:
1.       There will be two club hunts per year (a mixture of relics and coins at each of the hunts.
a.       Having the club hunts will depend on the financial ability of the club to sponsor the hunts. The determination of whether or not a club hunt can be scheduled will be made by the club’s board and this information passed on to all club members.
2.       Club Hunt sign-up sheet will be available for members to sign up for the hunt at least one month prior to the hunt.
3.       The participant must be a paid member one month prior to the hunt date and must attend at least one meeting prior to each club hunt in that year.
a.       To ensure that we have an adequate supply of prizes for the hunt, you have to already have signed up for the hunt at a previous club meeting.
b.       You cannot simply show up at the hunt and sign in for the hunt.
4.       The fee for the hunt is $20.
a.       Children under 13 are free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult family member that is participating in the hunt.
b.       Children under 13 must stay with the adult – and not just walk around looking for prizes that may be laying visible on the ground.
5.       When the hunt has ended, any token for prizes that are found out in the field or that have not been turned in will become null and void.
6.       No prizes will be given out until the hunt has ended.
7.       If the member cannot stay until the hunt ends, that member will have to forfeit any prize tokens or find someone who can turn the tokens in at the end of the hunt for the appropriate prize.
8.       You must cover your holes when digging for a prize token or actual relic.
9.       You must wear headphones during the hunt.
a.       Due to the number of folks participating in the hunt, and the close area everyone will be in during the hunt, you must wear the headphones
10.   Lunch may be offered at the club hunt – but it is not a requirement.
If you have any questions about the club hunt or club dues, please let us know.

2022 Club Show:  This year's show will be upon us before we know it.  It is a club effort and everyone's help is needed.  This is what finances the club's efforts and especially the donations we make to worthy causes at the end of the year.  Please sign up at a club meeting for one of the areas handled by club members.  For an article on the 2021show, click HERE!
=========================================
Dues
If you have not already done so, please pay your club dues ($10 per person) at the upcoming meeting. You need to have your dues paid for the year to participate in upcoming club functions (such as the club hunt and the Christmas Party).  If your dues have not been paid, and you do not plan on rejoining the club this year, please let us know and I will take your name off the club's mailing list.

COVID Guidelines
Since Covid is still very much at work in our communities we ask that you practice good social distancing and stay home if you don't feel well at all.  Please keep in mind that we have a number of elderly members and that you consider wearing a mask if at all possible for their safety.  We will bring a bottle of hand sanitizer to the meeting so folks can use it whenever they touch something.
Again, if you are not feeling well or if you have been around someone who has the virus (thus exposing you) please remain home so as to not possibly spread the virus to others in the club. Remember, we have a number of individuals who are considered in the "high-risk" category so please be considerate of them.
Contact an officer or send an email (The "Contact Us" link on the left) if you have any questions.
